- Programme Objectives
The Bachelor's Degree Programme in Economics and Business provides a solid, multidisciplinary foundational education. The programme includes a core set of economic disciplines, complemented by fundamental knowledge in business administration, history, law, and mathematical-statistical subjects. It equips students with the theoretical skills needed to address major socio-economic issues related to the local context, as well as quantitative tools to analyse economic and social reality. The curriculum includes courses on specific topics such as the functioning of real and financial markets and the role of public intervention in the economic system.
The programme therefore aims to provide both methodological knowledge for analysing economic problems and practical, operational skills related to the measurement, collection and processing of data relevant to economic analysis in its various applied dimensions.
In addition to traditional lectures—also delivered with the support of distance learning tools—the programme adopts active learning methods such as practical exercises, case discussions, analysis of current issues, seminars and meetings with representatives of economic and financial systems and institutions.
The education acquired enables graduates to pursue further studies in any Master's Degree programme within the field of economics, as well as to immediately take on positions of responsibility in private organisations (companies, banks, insurance companies), local public bodies (regions, provinces, municipalities), national public institutions and international organisations.
Some success stories of graduates are available at the following link or on this post on the Instagram page @disesunina.
- Programme Structure
The programme has a duration of three years, each divided into two semesters. It includes 17 examinations—some compulsory and others chosen by the student—2 ECTS credits for additional educational activities and a final examination, for a total of 180 ECTS credits.
The degree programme features a core set of economic disciplines, complemented by fundamental knowledge in business, legal, mathematical and statistical subjects. It also includes courses on the functioning of real and financial markets, the role of public intervention in the economic system and territorial socio-economic issues, and provides quantitative tools for the analysis of economic and social reality.
Starting from the second year, students may personalise their study plan by choosing courses from different disciplinary groups.
For details on the study plan, courses, elective examinations, examinations and the final examination, please consult the "Study Plan" section.
