APPLICATION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED for FIRST CYCLE (LAUREA TRIENNALE – LT) OR SINGLE CYCLE DEGREE PROGRAMME (LAUREA MAGISTRALE A CICLO UNICO – LMCU)

In order to be admitted in a FIRST CYCLE (LAUREA TRIENNALE – LT) OR SINGLE CYCLE DEGREE PROGRAMME (LAUREA MAGISTRALE A CICLO UNICO – LMCU) the candidate has to demonstrate to own a valid foreign high school diploma, which has to be legalized, translated and presented with a declaration of value (dichiarazione di valore).

HOW TO ENROL
Validation of your qualifications and pre-enrolment at the Embassy

Contact the Italian Embassy in your country, and submit:

 

  • high school diploma;

 

 

  • the certificate attesting the completion of academic studies or a post-secondary qualification issued by a non-university higher education institute (only if the education cycle in your country lasts 10 or 11 years);

 

ADMISSION

  • First Cycle and Single Cycle Degree Programmes may be with or without restricted access (set at local or national level).

 

If the degree programme you are interested in has restricted access, you must register for the admission test; your admission to the degree programme depends on the score of the test and consequently on your position in the list of candidates. To find out about the methods and deadlines for applying to the admission test, download and carefully read the call for applications on the degree programme website.

MATRICULATION
Once successfully passed the selection procedures as laid down in the call for applications, or having done all that is required to complete the assessment of basic knowledge, you may proceed with enrolment.

Important: always check the instructions given on the degree programme website and, if the programme has a call for applications, read it carefully and comply with all the dates established.

EU students €200/year (university fees) + €140/year regional tax (compulsory)+ €16.00 legal stamp (compulsory)
Non EU students €140/year regional tax (compulsory)+ €16.00 legal stamp (compulsory)


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED for SECOND CYCLE DEGREE PROGRAMME (LAUREA MAGISTRALE – LM)

In order to be admitted in a SECOND CYCLE DEGREE PROGRAMME (LAUREA MAGISTRALE - LM) the candidate has to demonstrate to own a valid first Cycle Degree correspondent to a Bachelor (i.e. 180 CFU).

Documents to be presented:

  • Transcript of Records (ToR) with a detailed description of the courses followed and the exams passed to obtain the final degree. This document has to be translated into Italian and presented with a declaration of value (dichiarazione di valore).
  • Detailed description of the programmes of courses followed (in English or French);
  • Formal request to the Rector to have the degree recognized in order to applicate for the second level degree course

Once all the documents are collected, they have to be personally delivered to the Students' Office. The Students' Office will forward them to the coordinator of the teaching board who will authorize the student to formally applicate.

In the end the applicant can go on with the formal matriculation providing (personally and NOT on-line as for the Italian students)
