The Laurea Triennale in Economia e Commercio (LT CLEC) is a three-year course offered by the Department of Economics and Statistics. The goal of this programme is to provide students with the tools they need to analyze modern economic and financial systems. On completion of the degree course, students will be able to understand and contribute to the debate about economic policies, economic development, and financial markets. Further, the students will gain a basic knowledge in Mathematics, Statistics, and Law.

  • Three courses are taught entirely in English:
  1. Introductory Econometrics: The aim of the course is to let students to learn how to conduct independently—and how to evaluate critically—empirical studies in economics. 
  2. Mathematics for economic analysis: The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic mathematical tools that are applied in economic analysis.
  3. Economic policy: The aim of the course is to provide students with an analytical framework to explain the effects of monetary and fiscal policy on macroeconomic performance, economic crises, financial and fiscal stability, and income and wage distribution.
  • Admission requirements:
Admission is by a online test that can be taken in three sessions (April, June, September)
