Call for Papers: Workshop on Networks and Development

We are pleased to announce the upcoming Workshop on Networks and Development, that will be held on April 21-22/2022 in Naples (Italy). The workshop aims at bringing together researchers working on themes related to networks and development economics to present their work. Topics include (but are not limited to): peer-effects, insurance networks, firms' networks, information, family networks. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome.
 
The keynote lectures will be given by Eliana La Ferrara (Bocconi University) and Orazio Attanasio (Yale University).
 
To submit a paper, please write to networks.and.development@gmail.com. We welcome submissions from both senior and junior researchers (including PhD students). The deadline for submissions is February 15th 2022.
 
The workshop will be hosted in the facilities of the University of Naples Federico II, located in the historical convent of the "Santissimi Marcellino e Festo", in the historical center of Naples.
 
The workshop is co-funded by CSEF, LEAP, the World Bank (DIME) and the University of Naples Federico II. The organizing committee is composed by Mattea Stein, Matteo Bizzarri, Michele Giannola and Roberto Nisticò (CSEF and University of Naples Federico II) and Stefano Fiorin (LEAP and Bocconi).
